Join us! Help the next generation discover how to care for their health, fitness, and well-being. Your role? Develop the curriculum and scope for our Trackers Fit program. Working with Trackers Leadership and subject matter experts, oversee the design of an integrated learning experience featuring Fitness, Martial Arts, and Nutrition based in wilderness skills, nature awareness, animal tracking, and wild foods foraging.

Train core staff to more widely implement this content for over 30,000 students a year within our larger outdoor programming. Collaborate with Trackers leadership to bring Trackers Fit into our wider organizational programming. Facilitate pilot classes for Trackers Fit in after school, online, and summer programs with the goal of assembling and building a team of educators to meet program growth objectives. Trackers Fit integrated program content includes:

Fitness: Build curriculum to help youth and adults improve their fitness and well-being. Develop original physical play, games, competitions, parkour training, and movements for strength and mobility. Base these on the outdoor and ecological skills Trackers teaches: stealth, archery, throwing, paddling, climbing, and more.

Martial Arts: Help create an original martial art and self-defense system, rooted in the art of animal tracking and wilderness survival. Base its primary forms on local animals and other naturalist information. Create forms around weapons and hunting tools handcrafted by students: staffs, bow and arrows, throwing sticks, traps, and more. Incorporate stealth and natural camouflage.

Nutrition (Food & Culinary): Assemble and work with subject matter experts in nutrition, cooking, and wild foods foraging to develop a fun and unique nutrition, food, and culinary curriculum for kids.  Focus on local and wild foods as a keystone feature to foster deeper community and ecological connections through nutritional health.

As the Trackers Fit Curriculum & Program Developer you are a keystone contributor to our Trackers For Life journey—a program that trains teens, parents, and seniors as outdoor educators and Trackers staff. In this critical role, you help design leading-edge program content. Create curriculum and essential resources to train and mentor youth. Join a seasoned, dedicated, and expert team to move outdoor education toward its greater potential. Join us in guiding kids to reclaim childhood, competency, and their connection to the wild!
