Overview
We are hiring for a Hiking Guide position for this summer. Join our team as a Professional Wilderness Guide in a dynamic environment in the middle of the Alaska Range mountains.
Job includes the following activities and experience:
Hiking
Backpacking
Multi-Day lodge-based adventures
Transportation (whole road system)
Knowledge of great places to eat across the state
Local flora and fauna
Natural and cultural history
Wilderness First Responder
Swift water rescue technician (if rafting/packrafting)
Competitive industry pay rate
Required Skills:
Must be physically fit to be able to guide in mountains environments in Alaska, in various weather conditions. Wilderness First Responder certification.
Must have year-round experience in Alaska.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience guiding preferred, but not required.
