Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is hiring Crew Supervisors based out of Wenatchee, Ellensburg and Yakima, Washington. This position will lead a team of AmeriCorps members working with various public land agencies. This is a full-time permanent position with state benefits through the WA Department of Ecology. Salary range $41,760.00 – $54,492.00 annually (DOE). Position starts September 1.
The Crew Supervisor will work with a variety of partners working on restoration, forest health and trail maintenance projects. Partner agencies include US Forest Service, National Park Service, Washington DNR, Washington State Parks and various local Conservation Districts. Depending on the location, this position may require extensive travel throughout the state and spend much of their time on overnight assignments lasting up to 8 days at a time.

An Associate's degree in Environmental Science or Studies, Forestry, or closely related field, and one (1) year of experience as a WCC crew member, or similar program (trail work, conservation corps, outdoor education, restoration, etc.)
Three (3) years of experience equivalent to conservation corps field work, young adult mentorship, or leadership.
Experience working with and leading young adults. Able to perform manual labor outdoors every day in a variety of conditions.
S-212 or similar chainsaw certification, current Wilderness First Responder. Trail work, restoration or manual labor experience.
