Overview

The Finance & Operations Administrator is responsible for working closely with the Executive Director, program staff, and external partners, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing budget utilization, collaborating on human resource operations, and supporting operational efficiency. This role oversees accounting processes, including bookkeeping, grant accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, while ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation of financial transactions, and compliance with regulations. Additionally, the position supports office administration, and HR coordination, including benefits administration and compliance with employment regulations. This position also fosters collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment with grant requirements. This role reports to the Executive Director.

Required Skills:

Organization: Ability to keep and track records and financial information.
Collaboration: Experience working closely with teams, both internal and external.
Bookkeeping Experience: At least three years bookkeeping experience, grant accounting management experience, and payroll experience.
Software: Expert knowledge of and experience working with QuickBooks; experience working with Gusto or equivalent payroll software as needed; proficient with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
