Camp Chief Ouray at YMCA of the Rockies is seeking a Ropes Director to lead our challenge course programming, staff, and facilities. This is a key leadership role on the camp admin team, supporting overnight camp operations while delivering safe, engaging, and mission-driven ropes experiences for campers and staff.
What You’ll Do
Oversee all ropes and challenge course programming
Supervise, train, and mentor ropes staff
Ensure safety standards and compliance with ACA, YMCA, and Colorado licensing
Maintain ropes facilities and equipment
Collaborate with camp leadership and support overall camp operations
Who You Are
21+ with camp and supervisory experience
Strong organizer and confident leader
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Certified Level 1 or Level 2 Ropes Facilitator (ACCT-approved)
Passionate about youth development and safety
