About Youth Odyssey, Inc.
Founded in 1997, we are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit based in Corpus Christi, TX, teaching basic life skills through outdoor adventure (camping, backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, ropes courses and so much more)
We strive to uncover the buried potential within youth who have not yet discovered it in themselves. In doing so, disadvantaged and underprivileged youth become productive and contributing members of society.
Our mission is to inspire, engage and empower disadvantaged and underprivileged youth through leadership development, life skills, and outdoor activities.
Our overall goal is to effect social change in disadvantaged and underprivileged youth ages 10-17, by providing programming that increases their resilience attributes and decreases risk factors such as gang violence, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, and highschool dropouts through appealing, healthy adventure challenges.
