Overview

Guides provide the core service that we offer to our clients. They are the key to our success. It is a massive responsibility to take people into situations that they would not be able to experience on their own. We are very serious about safety, risk management and professionalism. On top of this, we aspire to connect on a personal level with our clients, to provide them with the maximum fun, excitement and empowerment in order to give them a glimpse of their connection to the natural world.

This position involves working with and assisting customers with all aspects of their time at MWW. Our guests are what make having a job as a Raft Guide possible. Providing a positive and memorable experience for every guest is extremely important. Guiding river trips involves more than physically getting folks down a river. You are a teacher, a coach, a buddy and an entertainer. Raft guiding requires teamwork, both in and out of the boat. Part of taking a raft trip includes working with shuttle drivers, office staff, photographers, other recreationalists, handling gear, helping suit up customers and maintaining gear. At Montana Whitewater we TAKE CARE OF OUR GEAR. We want you to do this job according to our specifications, and we welcome timely suggestions on how to make things run more smoothly.
