Focusing largely on adaptive snowsports instruction, interns will receive the training necessary to assess and deliver snowsports instruction for children, adults, and vets with disabilities. Other roles include helping with fundraising, special events, staff training, administrative duties, and nonprofit operations. Education: High School graduate or equivalent. College degree in a related field desired, but any field welcome!

Experience: Experience working/volunteering with individuals with disabilities encouraged, but not required. Experience working in a recreational setting preferred.

Skiing Ability: Intermediate or Advanced

Preferred Skills:

Must have the physical ability and strength to participate in daily activities at high altitude and to assist snowsports participants with adaptive equipment. Need to work outdoors for long periods of time in all conditions. Positive attitude and self-starter tendencies preferred. Experience teaching and leading a subject or activity.
