Overview
Summary: American Conservation Experience (ACE), a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS) and Yellowstone National Park is seeking 1 Member to work with park staff, youth corps, other cooperators, and volunteers to assist with field and office work to perform forest health surveys, to assess and assist in the removal of hazardous trees, to assist with forest revegetation efforts, to collect and analyze GPS and GIS data, to collect native seeds, to conduct nursery work, to complete restoration site maintenance, and to control invasive plants. This member will receive training in park operations, conducting forest inventories, seed collection and curation, seedling and tree transplantation, invasive plant control, and hazard tree work and will have opportunities to work alongside NPS staff.
