Overview

American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the National Park Service is seeking ONE Environmental Education and Video Production Member to contribute to virtual environmental education programing and distance learning programing (synchronous and asynchronous) alongside Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area staff. This could involve a focus on field (forests, wetlands, along streams, and in and along the Chattahoochee River) and in-studio technical support and video production. The ACE member would develop virtual environmental education and interpretive programs under the direction of park staff and support and assist with programs presented to the general public.

Qualifications:

- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Able to represent ACE and partner organization in a professional manner
- Ability to work alone and be a contributing member of a group
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Must pass criminal history checks
- Perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Verify they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or be granted a medical or religious exemption
- Must have personal vehicle

Required Skills:

- Must have effective communication skills
- Must be able to swim
- Knowledge of video production
- Knowledgeable or willing to learn Teams, WebEx, and Zoom

Preferred Skills:

- Bachelors or experience in some aspect of natural resource study
- Knowledge of use of video and virtual learning equipment
