Spring Orientation: March 7th

450 hr(roughly 4 months) crews: Start Date: March 7th 2022 End Date: July 8th 2022

450 hr(roughly 4 months) Veteran Fire Corps Crew–Start Date: March 7th 2022 End Date: July 15th 2022

675 hour(roughly 5 months) crew: Start Date: March 7th 2022 End date: August 5th 2022

900 hour(roughly 6 months) crew: Start Date: March 7th 2022 End date: September 16th 2022

Stipend: $475 per week

Location: Flagstaff, AZ

Benefits: AmeriCorps Education Award; Paid training; Food budget while on hitch; Employee Assistance Program

General Field Crews:

AZCC’s Field Crew program engages motivated young adults, ages 18-25, to complete challenging and impactful conservation service projects throughout Arizona and southern New Mexico. With both camping crews and local day work crews, there are a variety of crews to choose from

Qualifications:

Be between the ages of 18 and 25
Prior AmeriCorps service and experience with backpacking, wilderness travel, camp management and outdoor leadership preferred.
Have US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency status.
Have a high school diploma or GED

Required Skills:

Pass background checks: all offers of positions are conditional upon completion of an acceptable check of the National Sex Offender Public Registry and Federal criminal background check
Must be eligible to receive an AmeriCorps Education Award
Full vaccination against COVID-19 by the first day of employment and ability to provide proof of vaccination before starting.
