Overview
Our climbing program consists of:
Artificial Wall Climbing: Campers can hone their climbing skills on our state-of-the-art artificial climbing wall, featuring various routes and difficulty levels. They receive instruction on techniques such as foot placement, grip, and movement, with experienced instructors providing guidance and encouragement to help each camper progress.
Rope Course: Our high ropes course offers an exciting opportunity for campers to navigate a series of suspended challenges high above the ground. This element emphasizes balance, coordination, and problem-solving skills, while also promoting trust and communication among participants. Instructors ensure safety protocols are followed, allowing campers to push their limits in a secure environment.
Giant Swing: For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the giant swing provides an exhilarating experience as campers are harnessed and launched high into the air. This thrilling activity encourages campers to overcome fears and embrace challenges, all while having fun with friends. Instructors are on hand to guide campers through the experience, ensuring safety and support throughout.
Together, these components of our climbing program create a dynamic and supportive atmosphere where campers can build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories while challenging themselves in a safe and encouraging environment. Join us at Camp Fernwood for an unforgettable climbing adventure!
