Camp Manito-wish YMCA is seeking a full-time, year-round Camp Director. Camp Manito-wish YMCA is a 104-year-old overnight camp located in Boulder Junction, WI focusing on wilderness tripping and leadership development. Serving over 4,000 participants annually, this position provides overall direction to summer programs (Summer Camp and Outpost) and related support areas to ensure that all delivery systems are of the highest quality, engages strategic planning, and incorporates character and leadership development through the Manito-wish collaborative leadership model. Programs include a high emphasis on wilderness tripping (canoeing, backpacking, and kayaking) as well as but not limited to: Archery, riflery, horseback riding, mountain biking, crafts, nature, sailing, boating, swimming, and challenge course activities. The Camp Director ensures program excellence and creates a culture of belonging for all campers and staff through the Manito-wish collaborative leadership model, character development and wilderness travel.

Salary is $53,000-$60,000 per year with a full benefits package including health, dental, LTD, life insurance and retirement plan.

About Camp Manito-wish YMCA

Our 100+ year old Summer Camp provides a combination of traditional camp activities (archery, horsemanship, swimming, etc.) and wilderness tripping . Our programming puts emphasis on the wilderness experience and we use it as a resource to facilitate growth and leadership development in partnership with our in-camp experience. Along with Summer Camp, Manito-wish is also features a robust wilderness expeditions program called Outpost and Leadership Program that facilitates teambuilding activities for a multitude of camp and community groups.
