SUMMARY: Coordinate and oversee initiatives of the outdoor education office from a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students; supervises students, provides instruction in the field, and participates in overall office management and projects. This position works a non-traditional work week instructing overnight in the field on weekends, block breaks, and extended breaks with days off mid-week.

· Manage and lead the department in all areas of Outdoor Education to help students, staff, and faculty to engage in the outdoors through a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion
· Oversee assessment and data reporting for all programs of Outdoor Education and implement any recommendations for program improvement
· Develop & lead various initiatives to make the outdoors and experiential learning more inclusive for all identities at CC
· Oversee management of the Ahlberg Outdoor Education Center including reservations of the space, upkeep of the building through work orders, and making recommendations for creating an inclusive space within its facilities
· Train and mentor students in inclusivity in the areas of student office interns, coordinators, Ahlberg Gear House, Bike & Ski Co-Op, Ritt Kellogg Climbing Gym, Ahlberg Leadership Institute, and the Outdoor Recreation Community (ORC)
· Oversee all marketing and advertisement for various Outdoor Education programs, events, trips, and activities through print, website, and social media
· Assist with logistical support for Outdoor Education to include: the management of the SUMMIT online database system, submitting requisitions/financial documents, organizing credit card receipts, journal entries, reservations, organizing special events, answering email inquiries, and sitting on various committees as needed
· Assist in researching current industry best practices, assessment, and implementation of trends in regards to outdoor inclusivity
· Serve as advisor to multiple student groups to include fostering leadership development; act as liaison between these groups and other campus constituencies.
· Collaborate & develop relationships with campus departments and student organizations to foster cross campus connections & partnerships that meet the College’s goals of inclusivity, mental health, resiliency, and sense of place.

· Lead outdoor trips and trainings every weekend, block break, and extended break in field both domestically and internationally
· Collaborate & develop customized trips and programs for Butler Center Student Groups, Residential Life, Wellness Resource Center Groups, and Spiritual Life Groups.
· Work closely with the Bridge Scholar’s Program in the Summer and throughout the year with the BSP Leadership Program
