Overview
CultureSeed is a small non-profit looking for a dedicated and energetic Outdoor Program Director/Coordinator to support all aspects of organizational and program logistics, as well as direct programming in the outdoors with the youth we serve. The ideal candidate is a communicative, detail-oriented, and motivated self-starter who can truly work independently with minimal supervision. CultureSeed values a diverse workplace. Qualifications:
Payment, hours, location:
Coworking office outside of White Salmon, on the field with youth, and independently.
Job title can match candidate skills and involvement.
Must be available to work Wednesdays 4-6pm and 3rd Saturdays of the month March through December.
Availability preferred for youth overnight camping trips in Spring and Fall
Availability as an assist or emergency contact for youth 7 day backpacking trip in the summer
Part-time or Full-time, $25 - $30 an hour, depending on ex
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
Spanish bi-lingual strongly preferred.
Outdoor adventure programming, training, or personal outdoor experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Columbia Gorge natural resources and community preferred.
Experience working with historically underserved youth and working with a diverse population strongly preferred. Experience working specifically with young men strongly preferred.
Great communication skills to establish outreach and relationship with regional outdoor partners and potentia
