The Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations, staff supervision, set up, facilitation, education, and clean-up of recreational activities at Tributary, to include but not limited to vehicles, rafts, drift boats and all other recreational equipment, including but not limited to Archery, tomahawks, Mountain Bikes, Stand up Paddle Boards, etc.
Oversee recreation department daily operations.
Train staff on daily operation responsibilities and procedures.
Manage recreation attendant tasks and responsibilities
Oversee daily and weekly staff schedules.
Execute onsite recreational activities, rentals, competitions, games, etc.
Facilitate the organization of on and off property activities in collaboration with Member Services.
Organize and clean recreational equipment and storage areas.
Manage equipment inventory ensuring organization and in working condition.
Pump bike Tires and work with vendors to ensure proper function of bike equipment.
Set up, stage, and check out recreational equipment including but not limited to bikes, stand up paddle boards, river tubes, archery, tomahawks, and assorted games, etc.
Prepare all on and off-site recreational gear and equipment as needed.
Count all incoming and outgoing beverage inventory for each activity as well as monthly inventory counts.
Basic knowledge of and passion for outdoor activities.
Prior experience in a customer centric, customer facing position.
Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment.
The ability to navigate Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel at a beginner to intermediate level.
Previous experience in an outfitting and or recreational position.
Previous experience or knowledge of rafting, fishing or any outdoor recreational guiding.
Knowledge of flyfishing, rod rigging, and flies.
Comfort and prior experience in a teaching related position.
Prior experience in or knowledge of the area, its river and surrounding ecosystem, and history both cultural and natural.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
