Overview
Discovery Overnight Camp is KSS’s traditional overnight camp. Rooted in science with a focus in adventures, this position is a great foot in the door of the outdoor industry. Staff are primary caregivers while campers are present, and also get the chance to facilitate incredible experiences in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Every week a Discovery “Disco” counselor can expect to go on an overnight backpacking trip, a summit hike as well as Whitewater Rafting or Climbing! All these things are helpful in developing adventure related skills as well as interpersonal skills.
