NorthWoods Stewardship Center is hiring for four Spring Watershed Crew Members. Crew members will work as a team to implement a variety of water quality improvement projects such as riparian buffer planting, building infiltration steps, installing rain gardens, building encapsulated soil lifts, or creating vegetated swales and berms.
Applicants must operate well individually and as part of a team; have good attention to detail and provide quality finished products; be safety-conscious for self and others; have experience working with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, hoes, hand saws, picks, and wheelbarrows; show good time management and communication skills; and have experience working outdoors.
Driver’s license preferred but not needed. Position extension may be available based on funding and project availability.
