The Logistics Manager (LM) is integral to the High Sierra Management Team and overall day-to-day wilderness program management. The LM is a role model and mentor within the High Sierra community, providing daily leadership, administrative support, and management of the High Sierra basecamp and programs. Responsibilities include: logistics staff supervision, vehicle fleet management, equipment acquisition and management, food program management, budget management and basecamp operations. The PHMC reports to the High Sierra Program Director (PD) and works in collaboration with other High Sierra Program Managers. Required Skills:

Holds a current Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications.
Proficient with Microsoft operating system (Word and Excel), Adobe, and G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Drive, and Calendar).
Experienced in working with and mentoring staff around topics of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Have a deep understanding and personal commitment to equity and inclusion in the outdoors
Will be required to obtain a California Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 3 months of hire if you do not already possess.
