Positions open to guide 1- 3-week long backpacking expeditions with teens and/or younger kids in Olympic National Park, WA. Rite of Passage Journeys programs incorporate wilderness mentoring, ritual & ceremony, council practice, intentional solitude, play and exploration, and more to create meaningful and transformational outdoor experiences that honor life transitions. You will work with the lead guide and an apprentice/intern to guide co-ed groups of up to 9 youth.

At least 2 years of experience facilitating outdoor programs with youth and/or facilitating rite of passage work
Current WFA certification or better
Backpacking and wilderness navigation experience
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Experience facilitating or participating in ritual or rite of passage experiences
Knowledge of backcountry gear and cooking
Strong self-care and group-care skill in wilderness settings
