Overview
Stevenson School is seeking a Trip Leader for our students backpacking trip to Hethc Hetchy in Yosemite National Park. This is a 5 day, 4 night backpacking course in the Hetch Hetchy area of Yosemite running May 28 – June 1, 2023. A staff training session will be conducted in the days prior. Current WFR and CPR certifications are required as is passing a LiveScan background check.
Travel stipend and assistance available in addition to pay and benefits.
Qualifications:
WFR Certification, Experience leading extended outdoor trips for under-18 youth, Clearing a State of California “Livescan” background check (required of all who come in contact with school age children)
Required Skills:
Ability to hike 8+ miles per day with a backpack, good backpacking and camp craft knowledge
Preferred Skills:
Valid Driver's License
