Overview

In support of the company mission, your goal will be to provide managerial, and operations support under the direction of the Deputy Operations Manager. On a day-to-day basis, you will handle the behind-the-scenes details in our operations department to allow our Product and Operations Managers to maintain a big picture focus. You will be trained and have managerial authority to be able to provide operational support to help Intrepid and Wildland Trekking in the absence of the Deputy Operations Manager.

This is a seasonal position during May – September that operates in Estes Park, CO. The salary for this position is $20-24/hr USD depending on experience. Flexibility is crucial in this position as you will participate in “on-call” responsibilities of the department’s emergency phone when scheduled.

What you need to know:

This position requires ability to frequently lift, push and pull weights up to fifty (50) lbs, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and squatting over the course of a full work shift

Physical capability to meet company and DOT driving requirements, including ability to tow and reverse a trailer and stock trailer for transporting llamas

Willingness to work with llamas and provide care for them at facility (previous llama handling experience preferred but not essential!)

Maintain current Wilderness First Responder & CPR

Must pass a background check

A willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and work weekends and/or holidays is necessary

During May-September, when you will be scheduled to work, optional housing is available. This will include a private bedroom and closet with a shared bathroom.

You will bring your strong supervisory, facilitation and organization skills. You’ll have strong attention to detail and take a collaborative approach to working with other teams – all while sharing Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.

Qualifications:

You will have a passion for travel and bring:

WFR certifiction

Supervisory and facilitation experience

Strong organization and communication skills

Experience in assisting with new hire training

Proficiency with Google Drive apps, Microsoft Office and previous experience with a CRM system

Salesforce experience is highly regarded, but not essential!
