We are looking for an innovative individual to lead our kitchen at Triple Divide Lodge!
You will have the freedom to make varied menus of buffet style meals and express your creativity. Within the constraints of the budget you have the ability to try out new ideas. You will also have the opportunity to pass on your love for food by teaching our clients about nutrition and some basic cooking skills.
As the Food Artist/Chef you will work in conjunction with the cook to carry out your vision. The schedule is Monday – Wednesday 7 am – 6 pm, Thursday 7 am – 1 pm.
Triple Divide Lodge is a 90 day residential program for young men between 14 – 19, dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders. We want someone who is passionate about food, and also about our mission of helping youth in their recovery journey.
Menu planning experience.
Possess or quickly attain a current First Aid Basic and CPR or greater.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrate an aptitude for empathy and rapport building with patients.
Two-years’ experience in food service, management experience preferred.
Ability to manage a food service budget and menu plan.
Demonstrates the following skills: respect, discretion-regarding self-disclosure, openness to feedback and giving objective feedback.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
If in recovery, must have at least one continuous year of sobriety/abstinence.
