Overview

The Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland, Boulder Ranger District is currently seeking applicants for our Motorized Trail Crew. The Motorized Trail Crew performs technical duties primarily concerned with administration and maintenance of OHV trail systems on the Boulder Ranger District.

The program duties consist of a variety of tasks in implementing the district’s OHV program funded through Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s OHV Program, including but not limited to: consistent signage of roads, patrolling on Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs), making public contacts, and leading volunteer programs as they relate to road maintenance. There are training dollars available for things such as Type 2 law enforcement training, chainsaw training and certification, etc.

Typical tour of duty is late-May through November 30th, weekend and holiday work required.
