West Creek Ranch Guest Services is the ultimate variety job! This team of associates rotates through our dining room, housekeeping department, dishwashing, and transportation. Our Guest Services folks are the pride of our operations and make every guest experience first class. The Challenge Course Associate will experience the West Creek way through a variety of shifts and spend time facilitating our groups and local non-profits at the AMB West Challenge Course.
The AMB West Challenge Course is located on our sister ranch, Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. The course was developed in 2015 to serve the needs of the ranch and the surrounding community. Built by Project Adventure, the Challenge Course was designed to support independent exploration with a continuous belay aerial course, as well as experiential learning and teambuilding with 8 other high ropes elements and 4 low ropes elements. The staff create experiences that cater to the needs of each group it serves. Our team moves through the day with safety and fun as our top priorities.
The Challenge Course Associate will report to the Operations Manager and will work both in our guest services team at the ranch and to run our West Creek Ranch activities at the Challenge Course. They will also help as needed with local non-profit groups to ensure the Challenge Course is used safely.
Qualifications:
• Documented Challenge Course experience, including training.
• Ability to travel to and from the Challenge Course.
• Ability to be flexible and work a variety of jobs.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or ability to acquire before start of employment)
Required Skills:
• Ability to work with guests and staff.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the job which include repetitive motions, standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in inclement weather to complete tasks.
• Ability to follow a checklist to accomplish all tasks during a shift.
