Overview

The Event Staff plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service to guests during events and special functions. They will work as part of the hospitality team and be responsible for the setup and breakdown of venue areas, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting with tasks including cleaning, stocking, folding, polishing silverware and glassware, refreshing food and beverage buffets, and exceeding customer expectations.

Qualifications and experience:
Prior experience in hospitality, banquet, or camp dining is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for up to 8 hours at one time.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills to work collaboratively with other team members.
Effective verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Aspects of the Job:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds including unloading food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards of the site and facilities, as well as guest and staff behavior.
Physical ability to operate kitchen and banquet equipment according to safe recommended methods.
Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks while standing/walking for long periods of time.
Ability to provide first aid and assist
