The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Project Odyssey Manager supports Wounded Warrior Project’s Mental Health and Wellness programs by serving wounded service members dealing with invisible injuries (e.g., post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other forms of military trauma, and operational stress) through Project Odyssey. The Project Odyssey manager oversees the teams as they plan, manage, and execute all aspects of multi-day mental health workshops and virtual program delivery through a learning management system to provide support and resources to warriors and their families to enhance their resiliency and psychological well-being. The Project Odyssey Manager manages local and remote teammates, oversees the budget, and collaborates with internal and external resources to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Note: Project Odyssey is a 12-week program that encourages warriors to challenge themselves both physically and mentally while in a supportive environment. A 12-week Project Odyssey consists of a five-day experiential learning workshop and 11 weeks of follow up. Project Odyssey is also delivered in a virtual space over the course of six to twelve weeks using virtual experiential sessions and a learning management system.
