Overview

Activity Facilitators are responsible for leading family-oriented and group programs for members and guests of all ages. This includes sports, archery, outdoor nature activities, mini-golf clubhouse, roller rink, science experiments, climbing wall, games and other family programs. Additionally, Activity Facilitators will assist guests at the program registration desk.

YMCA of the Rockies Program Department is home to all the recreational activities offered at both Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch. This includes Family Programs which offers a variety of special events and classes for families to participate in together led by a trained and enthusiastic staff member. From ecology and navigation experiences, trivia and movie nights, to classes about fire building and local wildlife— our family programs are guaranteed to create lifelong memories. We also have activities catered to our little learners!

These programs allow young children time to experience the outdoors with their family, while learning something new in the process. Some of these activities include ball play, parachute games, and our most popular “little explorers” program, where children will have the opportunity to go on a short nature walk and embrace their natural wonder of the world around them.

Other recreational activities include mini-golf, climbing wall, archery, escape rooms, and ice skating.
