We are hiring a team to guide private tours on an ACCT level 2 canopy zipline challenge course. We are located in the beautiful Angeles National Forest on the San Gabriel Mountain range.
The Canopy course has 9 Ziplines, 2 Sky Bridges, Sky Stairs, 2 rappels and 1 mile of hiking broken up into 4 shorter sections and takes 3.5 hrs with a guide team of two and up to nine guests.
The Mountain View course has 6 Ziplines, 2 Leaps of Faith and less than a mile of hiking, mostly downhill and also broken up into shorter sections and takes 2.5 hrs with a guide team of two and up to nine guests. Our highest cables are 300 ft off the ground, our longest line is 1500 ft and everything else is in between.
Our guides teach how to steer, slow down/brake and self rescue to all our clients while sharing the responsibilities of coaching and encouraging those skills throughout the courses. We love our forest’s and get excited to teach the flora/fauna, ecology, geology, geography and wildlife along the way. Come soar with us.
We will provide all applicants with paid training, shadowing and testing.
Starting pay is $15.50 and will go up to $18.00 after all training is complete.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Applicants must have the physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.
