Overview
We are hiring Overnight Camp Instructors for our two Colorado Overnight Camp locations: Camp Windy Peak and Camp Blue Sky. Instructors are the cornerstone of our team, providing support, mentorship, and instruction to our campers with enthusiasm and passion. Instructors provide 24-hour care for our campers and act as their primary support while in cabin, on/off property, on expeditions, and more. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to make a lasting impact for dozens of campers this summer.
In this role you will:
Provide 24-hour support with guidance, supervision, safety and comfort for participants during all activities.
Co-lead an activity group of up to 13 campers through outdoor activities including: mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, SUPing and Leave No Trace principles.
Guide an overnight experience, ranging from an 1-night overnight onsite to a 5-day backpacking trip.
Organize and participate in camp programming, ranging from outdoor sports to camp games and rituals.
Serve as a role model and guide campers by exhibiting appropriate behavior, attitudes, and activities.
Follow and educate campers on safety protocols to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.
Provide exceptional customer service to parents and all participants in our programs.

Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age by the start of camp training.
By the start of camp training, must have an active CPR and First Aid certification. A Wilderness First Aid (WFA, WFR, EMT, or W-EMT) certification is required to work at Camp Windy Peak. Specific positions at either location may require a higher medical certification.
1+ years of experience working at a resident camp is preferred but not required.
