Overview

Strathcona Park Lodge is seeking generalist and specialized outdoor educators for our Fall high school programs season.

Programs range from introductory on-site activities (heights activities, climbing, hiking, overnight canoe trip, etc.) to specialized full-week programs in mountaineering, whitewater (kayak & canoe), mountain biking, sea kayaking, rock climbing, etc.

Applicants should be prepared to work a mix of both introductory and specialized programs – though those with proven experience and in interest in a specific field should highlight that skillset in their application.

We are especially seeking whitewater instructors and SKGABC L2 sea kayak guides.

Inexpensive accommodation and meals on site.

Fall Season: August 28th – October 20th.

$160-210 CAD / day.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
WFA 40hr
CPR-C
Clear criminal record check

Additional Preferences:
WFR 80hr
BC Class 4 Driver's License
Any skill or outdoor industry certifications (SRT, Instructor certs, etc.)
