Summer Camp Program Director

Overview

Welcome to the world of Camp Augusta! We are looking for a seasonal or year-round administrative-focused program director – someone to provide leadership in an established community of intentional growth, compassionate communication and a communal ethos of empowerment. Working with the Camp Director, you will be responsible for process improvement, camp management, and staff development. This person is a systems guru, with a critical yet supportive eye across multiple domains, and an ability to gather, analyze and implement big-picture improvements effectively to create sustained and measurable growth. This role focuses largely on management and development of people, processes, and systems to an exceptional standard. Applicants for this role would need to provide tangible evidence of leadership, development, and management.

During the off-season (if year round is desired), the program director is a key team member supporting both hiring staff and registering campers, as well as incrementally improving camp activities with the insights of previous summers.

Program Director positions offer a summer salary between $8,000 and $12,000 depending on experience and responsibilities. Pre-season, Post-season, and Year-round work opportunities also exist, with pay depending on experience and responsibilities. All work includes freshly-prepared organic food and housing.
