Why not live and work in the Colorado Mountains this summer? Are you looking to get outside, work hard, be a leader, connect with like-minded peers, and have fun? Our family-run summer day camp at 8,500’ in the Rocky Mountains above Boulder is seeking energetic, fun-loving, and dedicated folks who like children to join our residential team in the mountains. About 35 staff members instruct, inspire, and lead children ages 7-17 in an outdoor active community of friendly people.
Campers and staff both love the traditional and innovative activities – horseback riding, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor skills & crafts, mountainboarding, team-building games, drama, organic gardening, gymnastics, trampolines, exploring, Indian lore, and frisbee golf, to name a few.
2023 Open Positions include horse people, outdoor skills & crafts specialist, boys’ and girls’ group counselors, bus driver trainees, general maintenance, head chef, and kitchen assistance.
Staff applicants must be at least 18 and able to commit to reside and work at camp for the minimum time of May 18 to August 13, 2023, which includes a week of training. Covid vaccinations required. Prior experience with children a plus. Those with a positive outlook preferred.
Qualifications:
All new applicants must be available to commit from May 18 - August 13, 2023. The arrival date of May 18 is NON-NEGOTIABLE for new staff members.
All those hired to work with the horses must arrive May 16 to begin Wrangler Orientation.
Overall Staff Orientation is May 18-29 followed by eleven weeks of children's programs, May 30 - August 11.
Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Mountain Playground! Located in the mountains 1/2 way between Boulder and the Continental Divide, the Ranch itself features horse and nature trails, wildflower meadows, evergreen and Aspen forests, old gold mines, and views of snow-capped peaks. The Ranch itself borders the Roosevelt and Arapaho National Forests; the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park are within a 30-60 minute drive.
