Overview

Seasonal staff at Cottonwood Gulch support our programs while adventuring in the American Southwest. Spring and Fall positions will primarily work with school programs, taking students into the field to experience place-based educational activities; whether on a day hike, camping trip or on campus, our staff will facilitate outdoor learning with New Mexican youth.

During the summer, our staff are crucial to getting our treks into the field and exploring our Basecamp in Thoreau, NM. Road Cooks, Group Leaders, Program Staff and Specialists are all essential in supporting our trekkers, ages 8-18 as they live in community, learn about the history, science and art of the Southwest and forge deep connections with the natural world.
