The ideal candidate will have context to outdoor recreation and experience in special events, outreach, and supervision. They should have a strong skillset in communication and project management including contract and people management. They will have experience with social media, and exposure to public relations, marketing, promotion concepts, and associated tactics. They will have outdoor industry knowledge and relationships along with comfort advocating within the community. They will also have general skills in backpacking, hiking, camping, paddling, cycling/mountain biking, and/or fishing, etc. and support programming as able. They will have the ability to build strong rapport with the public and be comfortable with public speaking. They will have good office skills.
