Overview

In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, the Mt. Adams Institute’s Land Stewards program has the following open AmeriCorps positions:

– Wilderness Backcountry Ranger (Cle Elum, WA)
– Wilderness Ranger (Trout Lake, WA)
– Wilderness Trails Ranger (Chelan, WA)
– Wilderness Trail Steward (Ukiah, OR)
– OHV Trail Steward (Ukiah, OR)
– Trail Ranger (Entiat , WA)
– Motorized Trail Steward (Walla Walla, WA)

Land Stewards is a career development, AmeriCorps program for young adults, ages 21-30 (up to 35 for military veterans), interested in starting a career with public lands and natural resources management. These positions are 25-weeks and will run from 5/1/23 – 10/20/23.
