Do you have a passion for National Parks? Are you skilled and experienced at crafting major gift fundraising strategies? Are you excited about working in a small, nimble non-profit foundation?

The Fund for People in Parks is seeking its next Development Director to collaborate on the design and implementation of our fundraising program.

This job entails:
-25-50 major donors ($1K and up) in Development Director portfolio
-Opportunity to guide Fund’s expansion into grants and corporate giving
-A small and highly collaborative team
-We grant ~$300,000 for ~10 projects in National Parks each year

Nuts and Bolts:
-12 hours/week, with occasional upticks to 30 hours/week (~3-4x/year, spread out across the year)
-$58/hour, consistent with all Fund staff on a flat pay structure
-Remote position in California with a strong preference for the San Francisco Bay Area
-Flexible scheduling, with occasional work on weekends and evenings (4-6x/year)
-Business travel within the Bay Area (1-4x/month) and to National Park sites around the West (2-4x/year)
