Overview
Bold Earth is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Staffing and Program manager who will oversee our seasonal staffing efforts and several of our trip programs. This position will be based out of our office in Western North Carolina with the option for hybrid work. We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth adventure programs and our incredible leaders who help facilitate them. All Bold Earth office staff work as part of a small team, and as such wear multiple hats and work in an intimate office environment with interconnected responsibilities. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who combines meticulous attention to detail with flexibility.
This position will manage our recruitment and hiring process for our summer seasonal staff, as well as programming several of our adventures. During the summer, job responsibilities will focus on supporting our trip operations.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree
-Experience working with youth in outdoor programs strongly preferred
-Understanding of industry risk management practices
Required Skills:
-Superior writing, attention to detail, and communication skills
-Meticulous organizational skills
-Self-starter with the ability to find solutions for unstructured problems •
