Overview
Boulder County Parks and Open Space is excited to announce a new full-time benefited position, the Shop, Fleet and Safety Assistant. The assistant will work closely with the Shop Foreman to keep a 96+ vehicle fleet operational, manage an 11,250 square-foot shop and improve safety across the department.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of Vehicles, Equipment, and Facilities
Understanding of Hardware and Power/Hand Tool Maintenance
Knowledge of Safety
Hazard Analyses or daily Safety Sheets
Good Communication and Inspection Skills
Great customer service
Understanding of Zero Waste
Required Skills:
Good driving skills and ability to operate 1-ton vehicle in high-traffic/urban surroundings
Basic computer skills
Basic skill in the use of mechanical tools
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
Ability to work effectively with other employees
