Overview

Field Data Collectors (FDCs) work independently or with a team member to collect GIS data in the field. Utilizing a specialized camera, FDCs take specific photos of aerial infrastructure. This high-quality data is used for permitting, for infrastructure updates and for accurate mapping of current infrastructure. All work is outdoors. FDCs do not work in the rain or dark. Routes range from rugged terrain to suburban neighborhoods. Pay is $15 per accurately collected unit with FDCs collecting 30-80 units per day. All training is paid and all PPE/Equipment is provided.

FDCs are currently collecting in Plattsburgh, Mohawk and Llion, NY. Upcoming work includes Waterton, NY as well as Northern Vermont.

Qualifications:

Must be 18+ years of age and able to travel to a job site.
Must be able to walk 4+ miles a day.
Must be able to operate a smart phone.
Must be safety oriented in the outdoors.
