Overview

This position reports to the VP of Operations & Finance and plays a vital role in supporting the CEO to advance the organization’s goals through managing their schedule and other tasks so she can focus on high-level leadership priorities. You will also manage our hybrid work environment and support our mission by helping all staff have the tools they need to be successful in their work. The work can evolve over time, but it contains these areas of responsibility.

Executive Support – 70%

– Coordinates the schedule for the CEO and helps ensure the CEO is spending time in the most high-impact manner.
– Supports the CEO and executive team on managing large projects.
– Makes sure the CEO is properly prepared for all high priority meetings, including handling logistics and preparing any necessary materials.
– Organizes logistics for board meetings & events and oversees creation of the quarterly board packets.

IT & Office Management – 25%

– Serves as the point person for the organization on technology-related issues; troubleshoots and manages staff technology in-person and remotely.
– Purchases, tracks, and manages organization-owned devices and implement systems to more efficiently manage those devices.
– Trains staff on ways to use our technology; provides security training and IT support to resolve computer issues.
– Manages organization-wide software such as our Google Workspace and Asana by ensuring successful adoption across teams, working with departments to create tools, serving as a resource to staff, and training new staff on its use.
– Acts as the liaison between the organization and the Denver office space manager.
– Maintains the Denver office and supports staff in other offices with administrative needs as feasible.

Event Logistics – 5%

– Owns the logistics for trainings & other events organized by the operations team.
– Owns the logistics of the weekly all staff meeting.

In addition to your regular responsibilities, all staff are expected to participate at some level in organizational priorities including helping in certain fundraising efforts, taking part in election-related activities, and committing to organizational efforts around equity & inclusivity.

This position does not have an undergraduate education requirement. Spanish/English bilingual is a skill we value, but it is not a requirement. This is a full-time job, but there can be some flexibility in the exact schedule.
