Overview

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing, controlling, planning, and organizing the processes for finance and accounting. Their primary duties include creating and implementing financial and accounting procedures.

Key Goals of This Position:

● Up-to-date and accurate nonprofit financial accounting and reporting
● Effective grant budget management in collaboration with grant leads
● Accurate tax preparation for annual filing
● Current and comprehensive accounting and payroll standard operating procedures (SOPs)
● Timely payroll processing and benefits distribution

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, such as a previous financial management background.
● 5 years + professional experience in operations and finance management, supporting teams to meet organizational goals.
● Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, experience in Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
● Bookkeeping skills and experience in nonprofit financial management.
● Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices and grant managem
