Overview

As an Adventure Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our guiding and retail activities. This is a multifaceted position that involves logistics, client services, retail support, office coordination and assisting on the glacier.

Logistics and Transportation:
Assist with daily logistics, including driving and dropping clients off at the airport, harbor and national park.
Ensure timely and safe transportation for clients and guides.

Glacier Expo:
Hiking up to the glacier and cutting steps if needed before clients arrive.
Assisting guides while during safety speech and if clients need assistance up steps on glacier

Retail Support:
Work in our outdoor retail store, assisting with checkouts and organizing inventory.
Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers seeking outdoor gear and clothing.

Client Experience:
Help organize and facilitate a seamless client experience in the mornings as they prepare for their trips.
Answer client questions regarding their trip, typically in regards to clothing and timing, and difficulty.

Office Coordination:
Answer and redirect phone calls to the appropriate personnel.
Greet customers in person and provide information about our services.
Assist with social media management and engagement to promote our brand.
Support gear repair activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Enthusiastic about outdoor activities and adventure tourism.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, and a great attitude with a love of the outdoors.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn and contribute to various aspects of the business.
Comfortable hiking 3+ miles a day during glacier expo days
Valid driver's license and comfortable driving in various conditions.
