Overview
Each morning you’ll arrive at a different school and be greeted by excited 1st to 8th graders, who are looking forward to a day of outdoor fun and learning! As a Traveling Outdoor Education Instructor, you’ll have the chance to impact young lives positively every day. Your primary responsibility will involve guiding a group of 12-16 students through engaging and hands-on outdoor activities designed to stimulate critical thinking and explore the connections between the natural and human-made world. You’ll delve into topics like team building, field journaling, sustainability, animal tracking, and ecology. If you’re new to these subjects, worry not. We begin each season with paid staff training to prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.
