Overview
As a NOLS Pacific Northwest Program Supervisor, you will supervise courses to ensure program quality and promote student and field staff satisfaction. You will report to the NOLS Pacific Northwest Program Manager and be expected to provide instructor teams with curriculum, route, and risk management support. Will also assist in course evacuations, both helping when needed and holding the evacuation phone at times. Give feedback, evaluate performance and mentor career development for field staff. Serve as a link between courses and NOLS Pacific Northwest.
Key Logistical Information:
– Contract Type: Seasonal both summer and summer/fall are possible. Flexible between April-November 2024. This could be a 2 to 8 month position. Priority will be given to applicants with a full season of availability, but applicants with limited availability are also welcome to apply.
– Must be a NOLS Instructor working at course leader level experience, or previous experience in program supervision
– Start date: April 20th, 2024 (flexible).
– Seasonal housing is be available on-site for approximately $70 per month fee and includes food staples. Kitchen and living areas are communal.
