Overview

The Associate Logistics Manager (ALM) supports the Program Team in the overall logistical management of Outward Bound California’s High Sierra program and reports to the Logistics Manager. Areas of oversight include: logistics scheduling, logistics staff oversight, gear and equipment issue, driving, training, vehicle coordination, inventory management, and food program. Preferred Skills:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years’ experience in the outdoor education/experiential learning field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
Have 1-3 years supervisory experience

Able to sleep on ground and camp outside
Able to work long hours doing physically and mentally intensive work
Ability to lift and move a minimum of 60 lbs
Comfortable sitting or standing at a desk or computer 90% of the time or greater
